Dan: Thanks for this post ... I tracked down a few related articles that give some more insights into where the X Prize Foundation plans to go with space and non-space X Prizes. I didn't find too much new on the X Prize Foundation web site itself, although they've had information there for a while about an automotive prize and mention plans for a few other prizes.
